The Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX) basketball felled the visiting Del Valle Conquistadores (El Paso, TX), 59-50 in Tuesday's league test.

The Matadors (14-8) will now prepare for their test against Mountain View (El Paso, TX). The Lobos go into the 4A Region I District 2 test with a 10-12 record. In their last test, Mountain View went down by Riverside (El Paso, TX), 63-50, in a league test.

The Conquistadores now own a 8-15 record. They take the field next when they host Canutillo for a 4A Region I District 2 test on Friday, January 29. Del Valle will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 55-32 league win over San Elizario (San Elizario, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 20-3.
