Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Crenshaw Cougars (Los Angeles, CA), 76-69 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Westchester upgrades its record to 18-6 on the season. The Comets host Venice (Los Angeles, CA) to clash with the Gondoliers in a Western bout on Monday, January 29. The Gondoliers go into the bout with a record of 12-11. Venice lost 73-70 in their recent league bout against Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Firebaugh Falcons (Lynwood, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Crenshaw will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 11-10 record after their 69-46 non-league win over Legacy (South Gate, CA).
