The Fort Thomas Apaches basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Valley Union Blue Devils to 37 in the Apaches league triumph on Tuesday.

The Apaches now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joseph City for a non-league contest on Friday, January 21. Fort Thomas will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 77-57 league win over Seligman (Seligman, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-9.

The Blue Devils (0-16) will now prepare for their contest against San Simon (San Simon, AZ). The Longhorns enter the 1A South contest with a 3-12 record.
