Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Montgomery Bears (Montgomery, TX) and the host Magnolia Bulldogs (Magnolia, TX), saw Montgomery's basketball squad hold off Magnolia by a tally of 38-32.

With the victory, Montgomery improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bears host Splendora (Splendora, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 9. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
