Kansas High School Basketball - Independent crushes Halstead

Independent Panthers (Wichita, KS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Halstead Dragons (Halstead, KS), 73-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Independent upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Berean Academy (Elbing, KS) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Berean Academy lost 62-51 in their recent non-league bout against Halstead (Halstead, KS)

Next up, the Dragons play the Remington Broncos (Whitewater, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Halstead will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Broncos come into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 39-37 non-league win over Douglass (Douglass, KS).
