In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Cullman Bearcats (Cullman, AL), by a margin of 7-2.

With the triumph, Austin moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Black Bears travel to Bob Jones (Madison, AL) to play the Patriots in a 7A Area 8 contest on Thursday, March 3. The Patriots come into the contest with a record of 2-2. Bob Jones won 13-0 in their recent league contest against James Clemens (Madison, AL)
