February 15, 2024: Norwood-Young America, MN 55397 The Belle Plaine Tigers basketball team scored 83 points and restricted the host Central Raiders to 66 in the Tigers league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwest Christian for a non-league contest on Monday, February 19. Belle Plaine will battle a Stars team coming off a 80-56 league win over Jordan (Jordan, MN). The Stars record now stands at 14-7.
The Raiders (8-18) will now prepare for their contest against New Ulm Cathedral (New Ulm, MN). The Greyhounds come into the non-league contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, New Ulm Cathedral was defeated by Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN), 74-73, in a league contest.
