The T.C. Roberson Rams football squad scored 35 points and restricted the host Smoky Mountain Mustangs to 7 in the Rams non-league victory on Friday.

The Rams now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McDowell for a Mountain Athletic 3A/4A battle on Friday, September 15.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 8. Smoky Mountain will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 56-13 non-league loss to Commerce (Commerce, GA).
