January 12, 2023: Melrose, NM 88124 The Rehoboth Christian Lynx basketball team (Rehoboth, NM), was overwhelmed 56-32 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM)
The Buffaloes now possess a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Sumner/House for a A District 6 battle on Tuesday, January 17. Melrose will battle a team coming off a 36-24 non-league win over Texico (Texico, NM). The record now stands at 8-5.
The Lynx (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Alamo Navajo was overwhelmed by Animas (Animas, NM), 44-41, in a non-league battle.
