The Sandwich Indians basketball team (Sandwich, IL), was nudged 26-24 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Putnam County Panthers (Granville, IL)

The Panthers now possess a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roanoke-Benson for a Tri-County battle on Thursday, January 5. Putnam County will confront a Rockets team coming off a 46-39 non-league loss to Hall (Spring Valley, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 8-7.
