Michigan High School Basketball - Clare thwarts Ithaca
January 16, 2024: Clare, MI 48617 The Clare Pioneers (Clare, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Ithaca Yellowjackets (Ithaca, MI), 51-36 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Pioneers (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Beaverton (Beaverton, MI). The Beavers go into the Jack Pine test with a 5-3 record.
The Yellowjackets now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to St. Louis for a Tri-Valley - West II test on Friday, January 19. Ithaca will encounter a Sharks squad coming off a 50-26 non-league win over Carrollton (Carrollton, MI). The Sharks record now stands at 8-2.
