New Jersey High School Basketball - Morris Catholic can't hold off Cranford
February 23, 2017: Cranford, NJ 07016 The Morris Catholic Crusaders basketball team (Denville, NJ), was nudged 47-46 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Cranford Cougars (Cranford, NJ)
The Cougars now possess a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Morris Central for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 28. Cranford will battle a Wolfpack team coming off a 58-55 non-league loss to Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ). The Wolfpack record now stands at 13-10.
The Crusaders (15-7) will now prepare for their battle against Villa Walsh Academy (Morristown, NJ). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 13-12 record. In their last battle, Villa Walsh Academy was nudged by Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ), 60-42, in a non-league battle.
