The Yellow Medicine East Sting basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Renville County West Jaguars to 50 in the Sting non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Sting now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dawson-Boyd for a A Section 3 contest on Thursday, January 12. Yellow Medicine East will battle a Blackjacks team coming off a 50-24 league loss to Minneota (Minneota, MN). The Blackjacks record now stands at 2-7.

The Jaguars (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN). The Lakers enter the non-league contest with a 4-8 record.
