February 9, 2023: Dawson, MN 56232 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks (Dawson, MN) and the visiting Renville County West Jaguars (Renville, MN), saw Dawson-Boyd's basketball squad overcome Renville County West by a tally of 54-35.
With the victory, Dawson-Boyd improves its record to 6-12 on the campaign. The Blackjacks host Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN) to play the Lakers in a A Section 3 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 4-15. Lakeview lost 71-58 in their recent league challenge against Yellow Medicine East (Granite Falls, MN)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers (Westbrook, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 13. Renville County West will attempt to improve on its 6-16 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 17-7 record after their 65-39 league win over Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN).
