The Beggs Demons (Beggs, OK) football nudged the host Metro Christian Patriots (Tulsa, OK), 24-22 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Demons face the Morris Eagles (Morris, OK) in a 2A District 7 bout, on Thursday, October 14. Beggs will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 0-6 record after their 28-9 league loss to Henryetta (Henryetta, OK).

The Patriots (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Victory Christian (Tulsa, OK). The Conquerors enter the 2A District 7 bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Victory Christian held off Haskell (Haskell, OK), 50-6, in a league bout.
