Nebraska High School Football - Falls City prevails Fairbury

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Falls City Tigers (Falls City, NE) and the visiting Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE), observed Falls City's football squad defeat Fairbury by a count of 28-20.

The Tigers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Lincoln Christian for a C1 District 1 contest on Friday, October 1. Falls City will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 50-7 league loss to Auburn (Auburn, NE). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-4.

Coming up next, the Jeffs encounter the Nebraska City Pioneers (Nebraska City, NE) in a C1 District 1 contest, on Friday, October 1. Fairbury will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Pioneers go into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 56-28 league loss to Milford (Milford, NE).
