The South Spartans (Torrance, CA) basketball felled the visiting Torrance Tartars (Torrance, CA), 50-42 in Friday's league test.

The Spartans (12-10) will now prepare for their test against Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA). The Wolves go into the Pioneer test with a 11-10 record.

The Tartars now own a 16-6 record. They play next when they host Lawndale for a Pioneer test on Wednesday, January 18.
