The Rice Bulldogs basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Iredell Dragons to 39 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frost for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Rice will meet a Polar Bears team coming off a 42-36 non-league win over Wortham (Wortham, TX). The Polar Bears record now stands at 7-7.

The Dragons (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Three Way (Stephenville, TX). The enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Three Way was routed by Penelope (Penelope, TX), 1-0, in a non-league contest.
