The Liberty Magnet Patriots (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball nipped the host Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA), 50-48 in Monday's non-league test.

The Patriots (8-2) will now prepare for their test against JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, JSerra Catholic got by Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA), 73-64, in a non-league test.
