In Friday's league match, the host Normal University Pioneers basketball team scored a good 42-29 triumph over the Rochester Rockets.

In their next game, the Pioneers meet the Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 12. Normal University will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record.
