The Choctaw County Chargers basketball team (Ackerman, MS), was nudged 62-57 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Southeast Lauderdale Tigers (Meridian, MS)

The Tigers now possess a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest for a 3A Region 5 battle on Friday, January 29. Southeast Lauderdale will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 58-38 league win over Choctaw Central (Philadelphia, MS). The Bearcats record now stands at 16-3.
