The Covina Colts (Covina, CA) football overcame the visiting Nogales Nobles (La Puente, CA), 42-17 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Colts face the Wilson Wildcats (Hacienda Heights, CA) in a Valle Vista bout, on Friday, October 16. Covina will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 2-4 record after their 63-7 league loss to San Dimas (San Dimas, CA).

The Nobles (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Rowland (Rowland Heights, CA). The Raiders enter the Valle Vista bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Rowland was toppled by Northview (Covina, CA), 49-13, in a league bout.
