January 25, 2024: Iron Mountain, MI 49801 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Iron Mountain Mountaineers (Iron Mountain, MI) and the visiting Westwood Patriots (Ishpeming, MI), saw Iron Mountain's basketball squad overcome Westwood by a tally of 62-54.
With the victory, Iron Mountain improves its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to North Central (Powers, MI) to confront the Jets in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 29. The Jets come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. North Central won 48-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Mid Peninsula (Rock, MI)
Next up, the Patriots confront the Marquette Redmen (Marquette, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Westwood will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Redmen come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 72-57 non-league win over St.Ignace (St. Ignace, MI).
