California High School Basketball - Hollister tops Gonzales
December 29, 2023: Gonzales, CA 93926 Hollister Haybalers (Hollister, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Gonzales Spartans (Gonzales, CA), 69-57 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Hollister upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Haybalers travel to Everett Alvarez (Salinas, CA) to play the Eagles in a PCAL - Gabilan bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Everett Alvarez won 68-56 in their recent non-league bout against Rancho San Juan (Salinas, CA)
Next up, the Spartans play the Soledad Aztecs (Soledad, CA) in a PCAL - Cypress bout, on Thursday, January 4. Gonzales will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
