March 28, 2023: Newark, OH 43055 The Licking Valley Panthers (Newark, OH) softball nipped the visiting Philo Electrics (Duncan Falls, OH), 7-6 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Licking Heights (Pataskala, OH). The Hornets go into the Licking County bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Licking Heights held off New Albany (New Albany, OH), 13-11, in a non-league bout.
The Electrics now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Tri-Valley for a Muskingum Valley bout on Wednesday, March 29. Philo will confront a Scotties squad coming off a 12-11 league loss to John Glenn (New Concord, OH). The Scotties record now stands at 0-1.
