The Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), 19-2 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Marvin Ridge upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Hough (Cornelius, NC) to battle the Huskies in a non-league outing on Thursday, February 11. The Huskies go into the outing with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Porter Ridge drops to 0-6 on the season. The Pirates travel to Independence (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Patriots in a Conference 18 outing on Thursday, February 18. The Patriots go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Independence lost 16-7 in their recent non-league outing against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC)
