Illinois High School Basketball - East St. Louis edges Hillcrest

December 10, 2022: Country Club Hills, IL 60478

The East St. Louis Flyers (East St. Louis, IL) basketball nipped the host Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL), 68-63 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Flyers (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Belleville West (Belleville, IL). The Maroons go into the Southwestern test with a 4-3 record.

The Hawks now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Normal Community for a non-league test on Sunday, December 11. Hillcrest will encounter a Ironmen squad coming off a 40-36 league loss to Manual (Peoria, IL). The Ironmen record now stands at 2-4.
