Texas High School Basketball - Pollok Central winner over Brookeland
December 9, 2023: Pollok, TX 75969 The Pollok Central Bulldogs (Pollok, TX) basketball felled the visiting Brookeland Wildcats (Brookeland, TX), 45-28 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Huntington (Huntington, TX). The Red Devils go into the 3A Region III District 21 test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, Huntington was beaten by Pineywoods Community Academy (Lufkin, TX), 37-31, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Goodrich for a 1A Region IV District 28 test on Tuesday, December 12. Brookeland will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 31-9 non-league win over Chester (Chester, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 2-5.
