December 10, 2021: Corvallis, OR 97330 In Friday's non-league outing, the Corvallis Spartans (Corvallis, OR) basketball squad edged the visiting North Eugene Highlanders (Eugene, OR), by a count of 49-42.
The Spartans (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Silverton (Silverton, OR). The Foxes go into the 5A Mid-Willamette outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Silverton held off Springfield (Springfield, OR), 48-33, in a non-league outing.
The Highlanders now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Crater for a 5A Midwestern outing on Tuesday, December 14. North Eugene will clash with a Comets squad coming off a 54-23 non-league win over Mazama (Klamath Falls, OR). The Comets record now stands at 5-1.
