The Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS) basketball crushed the visiting Houston Hilltoppers (Houston, MS), 56-16 in Friday's league test.

The Tigers (15-7) will now prepare for their test against South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Cougars go into the 4A Region 2 test with a 15-6 record. In their last test, South Pontotoc walloped New Albany (New Albany, MS), 54-37, in a league test.

The Hilltoppers now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Pontotoc for a 4A Region 2 test on Tuesday, January 25.
