Arizona High School Basketball - Pima trounces Northwest Christian
December 9, 2016: Pima, AZ 85543 The Pima Roughriders (Pima, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting Northwest Christian Crusaders (Phoenix, AZ), 59-32 in Friday's non-league test.
The Roughriders (8-0) will now prepare for their test against Morenci (Morenci, AZ). The Wildcats go into the 2A East test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Morenci was trounced by Holbrook (Holbrook, AZ), 59-50, in a non-league test.
The Crusaders now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Valley Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, December 10. Northwest Christian will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 64-37 non-league win over Payson (Payson, AZ). The Trojans record now stands at 4-0.
