Texas High School Basketball - Sachse thwarts Coppell
November 10, 2023: Sachse, TX 75048 The Sachse Mustangs (Sachse, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Coppell Cowboys (Coppell, TX), 55-42 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Plano East (Plano, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Plano East notched a victory over Langham Creek (Houston, TX), 53-45, in a non-league test.
The Cowboys now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cedar Hill for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 14. Coppell will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 69-63 non-league win over Dickinson (Dickinson, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 2-1.
