October 16, 2023: West Grove, PA 19390 The Downingtown East Cougars football team (Exton, PA), was tipped 6-0 in Monday's league challenge with the host Avon Grove Red Devils (West Grove, PA)
The Red Devils (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Interboro (Prospect Park, PA). The Buccaneers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Interboro was tipped by Academy Park (Sharon Hill, PA), 6-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Coatesville for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 23. Downingtown East will meet a Red Raiders team coming off a 44-0 non-league loss to Penn Wood (Lansdowne, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 0-2.
