Iowa High School Basketball - East Marshall nudges West Marshall
January 4, 2022: Le Grand, IA 50142 In Tuesday's league outing, the East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA) basketball squad edged the visiting West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA), by a margin of 67-64.
The Mustangs (3-7) will now prepare for their outing against Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA). The Rebels go into the North Iowa Cedar - West outing with a 9-0 record. In their last outing, Gladbrook-Reinbeck held off Hudson (Hudson, IA), 83-65, in a non-league outing.
The Trojans now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Roland-Story for a non-league outing on Friday, January 7. West Marshall will clash with a Norsemen squad coming off a 48-45 non-league loss to Iowa Falls-Alden (Iowa Falls, IA). The Norsemen record now stands at 8-1.
