Ohio High School Basketball - Southern holds off Toronto
December 20, 2022: Salineville, OH 43945 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Southern Indians (Salineville, OH) and the visiting Toronto Red Knights (Toronto, OH), saw Southern's basketball squad hold off Toronto by a tally of 52-51.
With the victory, Southern improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV) to confront the Monarchs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 27. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a record of 3-2.
Next up, the Red Knights confront the Trinity Christian Warriors (Morgantown, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 22. Toronto will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 72-45 non-league win over Wood County Christian (Williamstown, WV).
