New Jersey High School Basketball - Notre Dame edges Franklin
January 14, 2023: Lawrenceville, NJ 08648 The Notre Dame Irish (Lawrenceville, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Franklin Warriors (Somerset, NJ), 64-59 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Irish (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Nottingham (Hamilton, NJ). The Northstars go into the Colonial Valley test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Nottingham got by Medford Tech (Medford, NJ), 71-69, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Irvington for a non-league test on Monday, January 16. Franklin will encounter a Blue Knights squad coming off a 69-62 non-league win over Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ). The Blue Knights record now stands at 12-2.
