Utah High School Basketball - Lone Peak tops Lehi
February 13, 2024: Highland, UT 84003 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lone Peak Knights (Highland, UT) and the visiting Lehi Pioneers (Lehi, UT), saw Lone Peak's basketball squad knock off Lehi by a count of 63-43.
With the victory, Lone Peak improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Knights host Westlake (Saratoga Springs, UT) to confront the Thunder in a 6A Region 3 battle on Friday, February 16. The Thunder come into the battle with a record of 14-7.
The Pioneers (13-8) will now prepare for their battle against Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT). The Vikings come into the 6A Region 3 battle with a 11-11 record. In their last battle, Pleasant Grove was toppled by Skyridge (Lehi, UT), 61-57, in a league battle.

Game Summary: Lone Peak started out strong in the first quarter and outscored Lehi 22 to 8. In the second and third quarters, the teams played evenly as each team had 26 points. Lone Peak ended the game with a 20 point win. The Lehi girls fought hard and never gave up. Addy Scrivner led the Pioneers with 15 points.
