December 9, 2022: Temple, TX 76502 The Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Hempstead Bobcats (Hempstead, TX), 78-56 in Friday's non-league test.
The Broncos (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Lago Vista was trounced by Salado (Salado, TX), 55-46, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Anderson-Shiro for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Hempstead will encounter a Fighting Owls squad coming off a 58-46 league loss to Trinity (Trinity, TX). The Fighting Owls record now stands at 4-9.
