The Bluffton Pirates basketball team (Bluffton, OH), was nudged 47-43 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Carey Blue Devils (Carey, OH)

The Blue Devils now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty-Benton for a non-league battle on Monday, January 16. Carey will confront a Eagles team coming off a 49-45 non-league win over Anna (Anna, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 12-0.

The Pirates (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Pandora-Gilboa (Pandora, OH). The Rockets come into the non-league battle with a 11-2 record.
