North Carolina High School Basketball - Word of God Christian Academy edges The Burlington School
December 10, 2021: Raleigh, NC 27610 The Word of God Christian Academy Holy Rams (Raleigh, NC) basketball nipped the visiting The Burlington School Spartans (Burlington, NC), 69-65 in Friday's non-league test.
The Holy Rams (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Cary Christian (Cary, NC). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Cary Christian got by Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC), 50-42, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Myers Park for a non-league test on Saturday, December 11. The Burlington School will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 56-38 non-league win over South Central (Winterville, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-3.
