Georgia High School Softball - Haralson County bounces Fayette County
August 23, 2021: Fayetteville, GA 30214 The Haralson County Rebels (Tallapoosa, GA) softball routed the host Fayette County Tigers (Fayetteville, GA), 26-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Rebels (7-2) will now prepare for their bout against Callaway (Hogansville, GA). The Cavaliers go into the AA Region 5 bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Callaway toppled Troup County (LaGrange, GA), 4-2, in a non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hampton for a AAAA Region 5 bout on Tuesday, August 24. Fayette County will confront a Hornets squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Woodland (Stockbridge, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 5-4.
