October 4, 2013: Acton, MA 01720 The Newton South Lions football team (Newton, MA), was beaten 40-21 in Friday's league challenge with the host Acton-Boxborough Colonials (Acton, MA)
The Colonials (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Chelmsford (North Chelmsford, MA). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Chelmsford achieved victory over Andover (Andover, MA), 43-22, in a league challenge.
The Lions now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westford Academy for a Dual County - Large challenge on Friday, October 11. Newton South will meet a Grey Ghosts team coming off a 34-0 league loss to Waltham (Waltham, MA). The Grey Ghosts record now stands at 0-4.
