The West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC) football routed the visiting Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), 68-28 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Rebels face the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) in a 2A Southern District 7 bout, on Friday, October 10. West Lincoln will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Red Devils enter the bout with a 5-0 record after their 43-35 league win over Maiden (Maiden, NC).
