California High School Basketball - Summit Shasta can't hold off Woodside
January 20, 2024: Woodside, CA 94062 The Summit Shasta Black Bears basketball team (Daly City, CA), was nudged 72-69 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Woodside Wildcats (Woodside, CA)
The Wildcats now possess a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Terra Nova for a Peninsula - Ocean battle on Wednesday, January 24. Woodside will battle a Tigers team coming off a 68-48 league win over El Camino (South San Francisco, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-6.
The Black Bears (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Kehillah (Palo Alto, CA). The Rams come into the Private School - North battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Kehillah edged Pacific Bay Christian (Pacifica, CA), 68-46, in a league battle.
