Wisconsin High School Basketball - Watertown thwarts DeForest
January 7, 2017: Watertown, WI 53098 The Watertown Goslings (Watertown, WI) basketball knocked off the visiting DeForest Norskies (DeForest, WI), 65-55 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Goslings (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Beaver Dam (Beaver Dam, WI). The Golden Beavers go into the Wisconsin Little Ten test with a 11-0 record. In their last test, Beaver Dam notched a victory over Eisenhower (New Berlin, WI), 66-50, in a non-league test.
The Norskies now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Sauk Prairie for a Badger - North test on Tuesday, January 10. DeForest will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 50-36 league loss to Mount Horeb (Mount Horeb, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 2-5.
