Illinois High School Basketball - Okaw Valley overwhelms Blue Ridge
February 8, 2022: Bethany, IL 61914 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Okaw Valley Timberwolves (Bethany, IL) and the visiting Blue Ridge Knights (Farmer City, IL), saw Okaw Valley's basketball squad wallop Blue Ridge by a tally of 62-18.
With the victory, Okaw Valley improves its record to 18-6 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Decatur Lutheran (Decatur, IL) to confront the Lions in a Lincoln Prairie challenge on Friday, February 11. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 17-6. Decatur Lutheran won 72-38 in their recent league challenge against Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL)
Next up, the Knights confront the Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos (Cerro Gordo, IL) in a Lincoln Prairie challenge, on Friday, February 11. Blue Ridge will attempt to improve on its 3-21 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 22-5 record after their 72-55 league win over Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond (Arthur, IL).
