The McKinney Lions football team (McKinney, TX), was beaten 26-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Boyd Broncos (McKinney, TX)

The Broncos (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Prosper (Prosper, TX). The Eagles come into the 6A Region I District 5 challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Prosper achieved victory over Allen (Allen, TX), 28-23, in a league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Little Elm for a 6A Region I District 5 challenge on Friday, November 5. McKinney will meet a Lobos team coming off a 45-21 league loss to Guyer (Denton, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 5-4.
