The Veritas Christian Eagles basketball team (Lawrence, KS), was toppled 47-39 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Altoona-Midway Jets (Buffalo, KS)

The Jets now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Flinthills for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12. Altoona-Midway will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 59-55 non-league loss to Fairfield (Langdon, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-3.

The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against St. Mary's Academy (St. Marys, KS). The Crusaders come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record.
