Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the clash with the Lewisburg Patriots (Olive Branch, MS) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 1. Lake Cormorant will attempt to advance on its 26-10 season record. The Patriots come into the match with a 20-11 record after their 3-0 league win over DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS).
