The Southwest Roughriders (Bartley, NE) football nudged the visiting Brady Eagles (Brady, NE), 45-42 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Roughriders face the Wallace Wildcats (Wallace, NE) in a D6 District 4 (6 Man) bout, on Friday, October 14. Southwest will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 48-34 league win over Paxton (Paxton, NE).
